Daniel has been an instructor at Georgia Association of Home Inspectors for over 9 years teaching the One & Two Family Dwelling Code. In addition, he has jointly taught over 900 builders the 2000 IRC (and now the 2006 IRC)as part of the Certified Professional Home Builders Program for the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. He is also a seminar instructor & curriculum developer for the GAHI and is part of the team that administers the Home Inspection Methods course. In October 2005, Daniel co-taught a course at Virginia Tech entitled "Designing and Evaluating Residential Walls with Large Openings" with Keith Gipe and Frank Woeste.

Daniel has been an active GAHI board member since 1998 serving first as co-chair, then chairman of the Education committee. He also served as Vice-President of GAHI from 2001-2002.

His professional education background includes a BA in History & Political Science from Kent State University, (December 1980) and completion of the post-bachelor education program from Kennesaw State College, (June 1993). He also successfully completed the GAHI One & Two-Family Dwelling Inspector Training class, (November 1997)

Gary has been teaching the One & Two Family Dwelling Code for three years. He is a seminar instructor & curriculum developer for the Birch Academy at the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors and is part of the team that administers the Home Inspection Methods course.

Gary has been an active GAHI board member since 1999 serving first as co-chair of the Standards and Technical Committee, chairman of the Education committee, then Vice President. He is the immediate past President of GAHI.

Gary’s professional education includes a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1975). He also successfully completed the GAHI One & Two-Family Dwelling Inspector Training class (May 1998).

Steve has been an instructor for GAHI for four years. He is a code certified inspector. Prior to becoming an inspector, Steve spent 12 years in the offshore oil industry working as a mechanic and marine engineer and held licenses in both the United States and Panama. Steve also spent 5 years with Johnson Controls in the facilities maintenance management division. Steve has several years experience in building and home renovations. Since his affiliation with GAHI, Steve has served as a seminar instructor and teaches the Mechanical and Plumbing Application courses. Steve is regularly featured on a local Atlanta radio station as an expert home inspector.

Bob has had his own engineering firm since 1978, and has performed over 15,000 residential, commercial, and industrial inspections in the Atlanta area and in the Southeast. He is code-certified and a licensed professional engineer.

He is an expert in diagnosing residential structural issues. Therefore, in addition to undertaking standard-type property pre-purchase inspections, a significant portion of his cases are referrals from other home inspectors who discover potential structural problems and recommend their clients to GEA for further evaluation.
